1. How do I become a client?

New clients should fill out and submit the form on the Become a Client page. We will then set up a 20 minute Meet & Greet with you and your pet(s). This quick, no-obligation visit gives us a chance to learn about your pet’s personality, routine, and needs—while you get to meet the friendly, trusted person who will be caring for them.

2. How do I schedule a service?

We require setting up a Free Meet & Greet first so we can get to know you and your pet. Once you are a client, you can schedule walks or visits through our Pet Portal, by email, or by phone.

3. What areas do you service?

We currently service the cities of Gastonia, Belmont, Cramerton, Lowell, and McAdenville.

4. Are you insured and bonded?

Yes! We are fully insured and bonded for your peace of mind. We take your pet’s safety—and the security of your home—very seriously. Our coverage is underwritten through Pet Sitters Associates. Please Click Here to visit our Company profile on their website.

5. Do you visit at the exact time we request?

We book appointments in 2 hour arrival time frames. This will be the 2 hour window that your Pet Manny will arrive by.

6. What types of pets do you care for?

We provide services for dogs, cats, and most indoor pets, including small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds. If you have a unique pet, just ask—we're happy to accommodate when possible.

7. What’s included in each visit or walk?

Each visit can include any of the following: dog walk, in home pet visit, refill food & water, scoop litter box, playtime, clean up any accidents in your home, clean up after your pet during walks or in your yard, packages or mail brought in, and take down or bring up trash/recycling can(s).

8. What are your hours of operation?

Our regular service hours are Mon-Fri : 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We will respond back to all phone calls, texts, and emails during these regular service hours. Current clients are able to schedule walks and visits outside of our regular service hours for an additional $5 fee per walk/visit.

9. What happens if my pet has an emergency?

In case of an emergency, we’ll contact you immediately and follow the emergency instructions you provide during onboarding. If needed, we’ll transport your pet to your preferred veterinarian or the nearest emergency clinic. Each Pet Manny also carries a pet first aid kit in their vehicle at all times.

10. Can I cancel or reschedule a visit?

Yes! We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations for Mondays must be received by 6:30 PM on the Friday before. We understand that plans can change and do our best to accommodate.

11. How do payments work?

We accept all major Credit & Debit Cards through our payment partner Stripe. Payment is due at the time of booking unless you are on a weekly plan (Weekly plans can be invoiced every Friday or on the 1st of the month.) We also accept Cash, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, and Crypto Currency payments.

12. Do you clean up after our pet(s)?

We clean up after your pet(s) while we are out walking or while they relieve themselves in your yard during the visit. We will dispose of any pet waste in a location you indicate to us. We are happy to clean up any accidents we find inside your home as well. We ask that appropriate cleaning products and paper towels be available for us to use.

13. What do you do during inclement weather?

Your pet’s safety is our top priority. During extreme weather conditions, we will modify the time spent outdoors with indoor playtime for the remainder of the visit.

14. Do you offer Referral Rewards?

Yes, we do! The program is only open to clients on our Weekly Special ($80) rate. Each time you refer us to a new client, who signs up for Regular Weekly service, you will be rewarded a one time $20 off your Weekly Special rate. Discount will be deducted the week after your referral signs up and has their Weekly service completed.
